We called him Tommy Boy. 

Born just weeks after the dreadful 9/11 attacks, he was named by his breeder after U.S. General Tommy Franks.

Tommy Boy came to live with us on Valentine's Day in 2009. He was, as my wife so eloquently said, "our good ol' gentleman." He shared the house with two cats, two children, my wife and myself.

We enjoyed our time with him and were sad to lose him so suddenly. 

He will be sorely missed.
