Juliet. To see the times and locations, check the splash page and watch the calendar in your local newspaper.

borders Borders at the Holidays
Our good friends at Borders in Brentwood have invited us to giftwrap for customers in exchange for donations during the December holidays. It's lots of fun since we can have hounds with us and talk up greyhound adoption while saving customers the trouble of wrapping their own gifts. Email Mardy Fones, mafones@comcast.net.

fall picnic Fall Picnic
Each September, greyhound adopters from across the region gather for an afternoon of food, fun and games in the large picnic pavilion at the rear of Centennial Park in Nashville. Any greyhound adopter and anyone interested in greyhounds is welcome.

GPA/N Dog Day
GPA/N adopters and their hounds join Nashville Humane Association for the annual Dog Day in the Park in Centennial Park. It's a day of games and activities and spotlights dog lovers, animal-related businesses and the work of canine rescue groups.
earth day Earth Day
Nashville's annual Earth Day observance in April in Centennial Park is the place to be. GPA/Nashville participates to inform the public about the joys of adopting "recycled racers." Watch the HOME page, the Yahoo group and Greyt News newsletter for details.

garage sale Annual Garage Sale
Like any non-profit, GPA/Nashville holds fundraisers such as our spring garage sale to raise money for Greyhound adoption. The next sale will be in Spring 2006, so save your best stuff and watch the HOME page, the Yahoo group and Greyt News newsletter for information about merchandise drop off, set up times and the sale dates.
Grey Walks Grey Walks
Greyhounds love the companionship of their own breed, so joining in on one of the occasional Grey walks at an area park, is a pleausre for both hounds and adopters. Watch the Yahoo group for days and times. Better yet, organize a walk or a run (enclosed area) of your own and invite fellow adopters by posting on the list.
